Coasteeering Cornwall is a website run by EBO Adventure and is dedicated to helping you undertake your first Coasteering
session.
If you have to do just one thing whilst visiting Cornwall it has to be Coasteering.
What does Coasteering involve? – jumping from cliffs, diving, exploring sea caves, cold salt-water, climbing rocks,
traversing as well as close encounters with seals.! Coasteering in Cornwall is an experience that you will not forget.
On arrival at our purpose built adventure centre on the outskirts of Newquay you will be met by your guide, given a
safety briefing and told which route you will be taken on. If you have Coasteered in Cornwall before then we can choose
a more progressive route at many locations across Cornwall.
Time for action then - getting issued with your coasteering kit – a wetsuit, EBO buoyancy aid and crash helmet come as
standard. You will need just a swimming costume, a pair of lace-up trainers (or wetsuit boots) and some long shorts.
Depending on the weather and water conditions, your guide will choose a coasteering route that provides a surprise at
every corner: a low level rock traverse above deep water, a low tide cave to explore, a jumping spot...
Coasteering in Newquay is a particular favorite but there are many other exciting routes on offer.
After two to three hours in, on, or near the water, hopefully not too much time underneath it! you’ll head back up the
cliffs to the coastal path for a short walk back to the start.
You'll appreciate a large towel and some dry clothes (including shoes) to change into before heading back to base for a
coffee, or a well earned snack.
EBO run coasteering sessions across Cornwall to suit all abilities and age ranges. From the military to families we
offer an experience that you will not forget.
One of the 50 best family days out in Britain
It certainly ups the ante from a spot of french cricket on the beach!
